Gigi is a Pekingese mix who came to live with Mr. Chubbs in February 2003 when she was two years old. Her original family gave up Gigi and her sister and father when they moved away. A rescue group placed her in a new home, but that woman changed her mind so the rescue found her a home with Mr. Chubbs. Gigi was very nervous and upset when she first came home. In addition to enduring a lot of upheaval she had suffered a broken back when she was very young. Despite permanent spinal cord damage she loves to run and play. She is a little jealous of other dogs and will give them "what for" but once they acknowledge her as queen she is happy. Gigi likes teasing Mr. Chubbs, giving kisses to her people, chasing wiener dogs and eating cheese. She dislikes the laundry room.
