Warning: Do not install this update without first registering TCSG.

Access Database
|
To update the TCSG Access database, follow these instructions:
- Select the database. All versions of TCSG prior to version 3.2 used an Access database. Starting with version 3.2 you can select the type of
database when you install TCSG. If you are not sure of the type of database used and your version of TCSG is 3.2 or above, start
TCSG, click Help and then About. The type of database is listed on the About screen.
- Click the Access Database and save the file. The Access database file name is tcsg_db_update.exe. The recommended folder is "C:\".
- Double click the saved file and enter the passphrase. The database file will be extracted and stored in the same folder as the downloaded file.
- Start TCSG and sign in. Click the Config Screen button and then click Update Database. If you stored the file on the C drive, the update will be
instantaneous.

SQL Database
|
To update the TCSG SQL database, follow these instructions:
- You must be running TCSG Version 3.7.2204 or greater to use this update. If you have an older version of TCSG, contact TelcoSolutions for an
update (201-327-9300 X12). If you are not sure of the TCSG version, start TCSG, click Help and then About. The TCSG version is listed on the About screen.
- Click the SQL Database link and save the file. The SQL database file name is tcsg_sql_update.exe The recommended folder is "C:\".
- Double click the saved file and enter the passphrase. Four csv files will be extracted and stored in the same folder as the downloaded file.
- Start TCSG and sign in. Click the Config Screen button and then click Update Database. Find the csv file named telco_yymmdd.csv where yymmdd is
the database update date.
- Delete five files (yymmdd is the database update date):
- tcsg_sql_update.exe
- telco_yymmdd.csv
- npanxx_yymmdd.csv
- block_yymmdd.csv
- file_type_yymmdd.csv
